In "Mad Men" he was an advertising god. In this movie, he's an unhappy drone cypher on the edge. He goes to work at a huge building where everything inside is colored grey. He sizes up his co-workers and doesn't much like what he sees. Then he
notices a door and goes into a corner office which isn't being used. It's wood paneled and high-end. Absurdist is how to describe this movie. You've seen stuff like it before. "The Office" and "Severance." He takes a co-worker into the room and
admonishes him on letting files pile up on the desk they share in the main room. His co-worker doesn't know what to make of it. So begins the spiral.
A suitably weird movie for the genre.
