In 1897, a cargo ship bound for London falls prey to a nightmarish
stowaway. THE LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER expands on events that open
the classic novel 'Dracula'. It's a fine idea for a horror movie, but turn-of-the-century creepiness proves predictably elusive. (I had
hopes.) Lots of gore and high-end visual f/x, from the director of
2010's excellent TROLL HUNTER. Somewhat recommended.

TROLL HUNTER surprised me. Great fun and smart too.
