I just figured out that Murderbot books #5 (Network Effect) and #6
(Fugitive Telemetry) by publishing order are books #6 and #5 in
chronological order. Book #7 (System Collapse) states this in the
“Also By Author” section. And book #7 picks up where book #5 leaves
    off.

I told you that back in May.

It didn't stick. Maybe number FT as volume 4.5?

Other series have chronology problems, sometimes
worse. Jack Campbell has written "The Lost Fleet"
and "The Lost Stars" serieses of novels which keep
bumping into each other. One of C.S. Lewis's Narnia
novels is set inside another one. The problems can
exist outside a fantasy setting. I assume that one
or more attempts have been made to create a method
of classifying a series as to best reading order.
Which is not to say that we can't have disagreements.
Your right order and mine can be different!
