Another read from fall of last year.

Mallory Viridian has been an unwilling amateur detective most of her
adult life. That didn't change when she relocated to the alien Station Eternity. In the previous book, the reason for this was revealed.

Now, the new leader of the station, Mrs. Brown, a subject of one of
Mallory's Earthside investigations, has to leave on station business,
so Mal is in charge. Now an new group of humans has arrived on station, including the law enforcement agent who hounded her on Earth, her
former best friend, and her brother, Mal's teenage crush. When humans
    get around Mallory, murder follows.

Besides a killing to solve, the station is acting odd, and her alien
symbiotes the wasp-like Sundry are as well. Oh, and the rock-like
    Gneiss have a political crisis.

This book packed in more plotlines, including ones that weren't as well integrated, but I still liked it quite a bit.
