I figured SOME people here would be interested...

You can read some of the pages from the book, in the eBay ads.

I remember the book fondly, but I wonder how you could possibly have
found out who its author was...

Well, it helps to look at the title page. (I own the book.)

But if you mean, how did I know exactly where he lived, since the
Radaris listing doesn't even give his age, the answer is, he IS listed
in the Gale database "Biography in Context." (You might be able to
access that database via your library's website.)

Here's what Gale said, aside from the booklist I already posted:

"Family: Born June 3, 1924, in Bronx, N.Y.; son of Charles and Lillian
(Glaser) Liberty. Education: Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, B.S.,
1950. Politics: Independent. Religion: Jewish. Military/Wartime Service:
U.S. Army, World War II; served in Pacific; became sergeant.
Memberships: Authors Guild, Authors League of America.

"...Author of documentary film scripts and of many nonfiction articles, particularly in the field of science."

I should have said "how did I know the address was a match."

I no longer have the copy that I did when I was a child... so I had
forgotten that the authors were indeed mentioned in those books.

But...Truthfinder lists him as being 82 (at the Bronx address).

(Granted, it doesn't say he DIED at that age...)

But if he did, it was either in 2006 or 2007.

At any rate, I now know that TruePeopleSearch.com does not necessarily
stop adding years to the ages of people who are dead. (Sometimes it does
    - and it even includes death years. Just not always.)

Trouble is, I can't be sure that Truthfinder is any better.

(Also, the latter demands personal information from you, when you ask.
    Forget it!)
