• Mini review: ME: A Novel of Self-Discovery.

    Dear rasw:ers,

Just finished ME: A Novel of Self-Discovery and hereby I give it 3 out of
    5.

Strong beginning, a story about an AI who goes on a journey of
self-discovery. But the book does not feel very polished, annoying port addresses and ultimately boring descriptions of reasoning that take away
    from the story.

I also feel the self-discovery could have been focused on a bit more, and
I think it ends in a kind of trivial and abrupt way.

3 out of 5. Will not read again.

I think I'll return to 70s and 80s science fiction for a bit. Next will
either be More than human, or some good, old cyberpunk from the 80s,
    possibly early 90s. We'll see.

Let me also wish you all a pleasant evening and happy reading!

Try the book that I just reviewed, "Shards Of Earth". I have not read books 2 and 3 yet so I cannot verify that they are good also.

    And the Murderbot Diaries.

Thank you Lynn, I'll definitely have a look!

If you want to read recent books about AI robots, I have two:

"Day Zero: A Novel" by C. Robert Cargill

Thank you Lynn, quite a selection, but let's see which one catches my
    interest.
