    2025 AURORA AWARDS BALLOT

    This ballot is for works originally done in 2024 by Canadians. The
    Aurora Awards are nominated by members of the Canadian Science Fiction
    and Fantasy Association (CSFFA). The top five nominated works were
    selected. Additional works were included where there was a tie for fifth
    place. An online awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 10th,
    2025, at 5pm EDT, with hosts Mark Leslie Lefebvre and Elizabeth May
    Anderson.

    Thank you for taking the time to post these followups.

    Repeatedly reading and reviewing at a fast clip is beyond me. My mind
    moves too slow. Slower than a Texas tortoise. It always automatically
    aspires to associate the appearance of objects (occasionally occult)
    "in story."
    Besides editorial appeasement, James excels at playing the part of
    the short order cook - dishing hot takes and fresh bon mots each day. >Although others "in group" share this superpower, only James
    consistently does it day in and day out.

    The catch is, I only have two speeds: not reading at all or reading
    at that pace. Which, come to think of it, is also true of my walking
    speed: either I am stationary or moving forward at five or six km
    per hour. Inconvenient if I am with someone.
