Here's another one.
Doctor Who is returning to our screens on 12 April.
LLLLLLLOOOOLLLLLLLL... Falling over backwards laughing.
Doctor Who ended in 2017 and it ain't going to be coming back any time
soon with a bunch of self centred, self serving, degenerate, woke
perverts running it.

Because the people who make TV shows for Amazon Prime are going
to be different minded to the people who make shows for Disney,
right? <rolls eyes>
If you don't want to come outside of you bedroom and sample the
real world in 2025, ask your mate about the Amazon Prime shows
"Rings of Power" and "Wheel of Time" (etc.)!
They must be doing well for Amazon as they keep making new seasons. The
wheel of time has just finished its third season on prime whilst rings
of power has a third season in production. No tv series will appeal to everyone - horses for courses.

Generally, Amazon's Prime Video does have a a lot of good
content on it, but I like a lot of stuff on Disney+ too. The
main issues I have is the [full price] monthly subscription cost
of Disney+ and having adverts on a paid streaming service. It's
all about getting value for money, not being prejudiced against
one big media company or another.

So much for the "go woke go broke saying"...
I managed the first season of "Rings of Power", I didn't bother
with the second. I thought it was dull and predictable.
I think I only saw about two/three episodes of "Wheel of Time"
but Mrs Blueshirt loves it and has watched all three seasons, up
to the episode just released. "Wheel of Time" is always high up
on the "Top 10 in Ireland" section on Prime Video though, so
people are definitely watching it. (I just checked and the
latest episode is currently No.3 behind "Reacher" and "Last
Voyage of the Demeter".) It's not a show for me though... OTOH
"Reacher" is brilliant and is my favourite Prime Video show.

Do you know the meaning of the word commercial Dave? As I think
you'll find they are all commercial... Netflix, Amazon, Apple,
Google (etc.) None of them are charities, they are all about
making money... that is the reason for their business.

To be fair, the concept of a business making money is not known at the >aptly-named NotKnow.

Here we only get a couple of months to lodge the tax return
(something like 7 July is the deadline) ... after that it is either
tough luck or a fine.
Although the tax is automatically calculated at the various sources,--
so most people do not need to do anything at all do not need to file
a tax return at all. Only those people with special requirements need
to fill to personal tax forms (these days online) - self-employed,
claiming tax refunds for charitable donations, receiving overseas
income, etc.

our tax year starts on January 1st and finishes on 31st December.

Halloween seems fitting since your tax bill is probably the scariest
thing you see each year and the government plays the biggest trick by
wasting most of the money on stupidities. ;-)
In New Zealand, the dates for personal income tax are:
- tax year 1 April - 31 March
- tax forms lodged by 7 July
- tax payments due by 7 February
(tax refunds are usually paid as soon as the tax forms
have been assessed as correct)
