We knew it was coming, some wished for it and maybe even jumped
up and down when it was confirmed, but I feel the story of the
last two seasons of Doctor Who is how wasted Ncuti Gatwa was and
how he deserved so much more from the show. If RTD thinks his
scripts did Ncuti's Doctor justice then in my opinion he is
wrong.
The 15th Doctor will not be the first, or last, Doctor to be let
down by the writing, but for me Ncuti Gatwa didn't get the
chance to shine as much as he should have done. Ncuti is a
better actor than what RTD gave him to work with. He was
smothered from the start by Ruby Sunday's story, whilst this
season getting Belinda Chandra home by a certain date became the
main arc. The 15th Doctor has often been a periphery figure, not
the main driver of the stories.
I was sad to see the 15th Doctor go, he could have done so much
more. I'm sure Ncuti Gatwa will go on to better things. I wish
him all the best.

Are they supposed to be Sea Devils in that bit at the end?

Just like Colin Baker.

I never liked Colin Baker's Doctor on the TV... it's only in
the Big Finish audios that I feel his Doctor was redeemed. Of
course, it wasn't Colin's fault that a lot of his TV stories
were s*t. But once you've seen them you can't unsee them.
