I’ve finally worked out what the scene with the CGI Omega monster
reminds me of.
Does anyone else remember an old claymation cartoon series
called The Trap Door? Each episode, a large monster would emerge
from the trap door, cause havoc for a couple of minutes, then
get driven back where it came from by Berk, the protagonist.
That’s pretty much what happens here, except the cartoon was
visually blocked much better than this.

Been there, done that ... almost. "The Adventures of Doctor Puppet" is
