Doctor Who is already dead with 4 stakes through it's hearts,
Jodie Whittaker, Ncuti Gatwa, Billy Piper, and the biggest on
of all, The Timeless Child Monster.
The only way Doctor Who can come back is for all of these
stakes to be complete removed and that means a complete reset
to before these stakes impaled Doctor Who to begin with.
RIP Doctor Who 1963-1996

It's not just the entertainment industry either. You just have
to look at any business company where a new manager or CEO
comes along and tries to change things to try to prove how
"clever"/"useful" they are, only to make a complete mess of it
and waste piles of money.

You'd expect any showrunner to have a vision for the show they
are producing and make the overall feel of it their idea for
that show. That's why you'd give them the job. But 'vision'
shouldn't mean continually harking back to your previous time on
the show as though that's all that counts. Bringing back David
Tennant, Donna Noble and now Rose Tyler, is basically just
"RTD's Greatest Hits: Volume Two". It's not really going forward.
I suppose we can consider ourselves lucky that John Barrowman is
in acting purgatory or else a Captain Jack cameo would have been
guaranteed!

Yes. I’ve double-checked and it was definitely Bunny Webber who
suggested the Troubleshooters concept, back in March 1963.
Aggy would probably agree with many of the ideas in Webber’s memo:
“Young heroines do not command the interest of boys. Young
heroes do command the interest of girls. Therefore the highest
coverage amongst children and teenagers is got by: The Handsome
Young Man Hero”
(Whether it’s still true nowadays is another matter, but you
can see why I joked about Aggy wanting to turn the clock back
to Webber’s vision.)

The Handsome Young Man Hero character became Ian (then
Steven, Ben and Jamie.)
DoctorBill was based loosely on Webber’s “The Maturer Man
[…] With Some ‘Character’ Twist”. Only loosely though, since
Webber wanted the character to be aged 35-40 but no more.
(“Nowadays, to satisfy grown women, Father-figures are introduced
into loyalty
programmes at such a rate that TV begins to look like an
Old People’s Home.”)
Of course, all this was when the series was still just going to
be a contemporary Earth-based show about a team of trouble-
shooters dealing with mad scientists etc. Quite a lot changed
when they decided to add the TARDIS.
(Whether it’s still true nowadays is another matter, but youMaybe Aggy just wants to relive his youth!!
can see why I joked about Aggy wanting to turn the clock back
to Webber’s vision.)
I doubt he was ever The Handsome Young Man Hero.

I’ve double-checked and it was definitely Bunny Webber who
suggested the Troubleshooters concept, back in March 1963.
Aggy would probably agree with many of the ideas in Webber’s
memo: “Young heroines do not command the interest of boys.
Young heroes do command the interest of girls. Therefore the
highest coverage amongst children and teenagers is got by: The
Handsome Young Man Hero”
In fairness, that was 1963... a long long time ago... so long
ago I wasn't even born!
Even in 1963 it probably wasn’t true. There was a young heroine
character in DW right from the start!
