    Disgraceful is correct.

The last decade of Doctor Who needs to be delete from both canon and existence. The same goes for Star Trek and Star Wars.

I see a common thread developing here in fandoms; some longtime
fans don't like the modern versions of television shows/movies
they liked as a child. This is actually quite normal. It is
called getting old... and we all know that nothing is as good as
it was when we were young.

Fortunately, Father Time has a cure for this ailment.

Fortunately, Father Time has a cure for this ailment.

Sometimes it is simply the fan growing out of the franchise.

It is also often the new people making the more "modern" versions that
make ridiculous ill-fitting changes because they think they know better
than the person who had the actual creative talent to make the
original. This doesn't just happen in TV and movies, but also happens
in comic books and novels where there is a long running series taken
over by new people. Plus these days there are the inevitable silly
changes to appease the "Politically Correct" fools.

One great example is the live-action (so-called) "Thunderbirds" movie.
Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker in "Star Trek: The Next Generation")
was given the job of making the movie, but he knew absolutely nothing
about the original show, watched a couple of episodes, and then
*thought* he knew it all ... which he obviously didn't, because the
movie is absolute rubbish with all sort sof ridiculous idiocy in it.

The superhero franchises are another example. The original fairly
simple style has become far darker and more violent, in both the comic
    books and the movies.

Fortunately, Father Time has a cure for this ailment.

It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with getting old. It all has
to do with a bunch of perverted woke activists taking over these
franchises and using them to attack men and masculinity and promote homosexually which 97% of the population is not interested in and man
hating lesbian feminism when the audiences of these shows were nearly
all men. It's like going into a Church, Mosque, Synagogue or Temple and denouncing God and the worshippers for believing while at the same time
trying to get them to worship the devil.

Watch this video which discusses how a gay activist took over The Wheel
of Time and made it all about himself and his gay agenda instead of the
about the main protagonist in the books who he sidelined and replaced
with other minor characters all of whom he turned gay or lesbian which
they were not portrayed as in the books.

that complain about cross-posting or something being off-topic.
They are just grumpy old sods moaning in a public place for some

"jumps the shark" is a reference to a "Happy Days" episode in which "The
Fonz" on his motorbike jumps a pool containing a shark.

Back in the 50's/60's as 'represented' in the show) weird things were
being done on motorbikes .... like "Evil" Knievel jumping Canyons,
    chains of Cara/Buses, etc.

Why is such a "big" thing made about 'jumps the shark'??

Fortunately, Father Time has a cure for this ailment.

It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with getting old. It all has
to do with a bunch of perverted woke activists taking over these
franchises and using them to attack men and masculinity and promote >homosexually which 97% of the population is not interested in and man
hating lesbian feminism when the audiences of these shows were nearly
all men. It's like going into a Church, Mosque, Synagogue or Temple and >denouncing God and the worshippers for believing while at the same time >trying to get them to worship the devil.

Hoping that Piper is a placeholder!

Why would Piper want to put her career on pause for the next two years
doing absolutely nothing and completely destroy to? But then again what
has she been in in the past decade apart from The Day of the Doctor?

    The moment is just that!

How many young Doctor Who fans do you know that moan about the
show? A lot of it is the older fans who don't like the modern
direction of the show. So I do think some of it is people
getting old and wanting the show to be like it was when they
    were younger.

It all has to do with a bunch of perverted woke activists
taking over these franchises and using them to attack men and
masculinity and promote homosexually which 97% of the
population is not interested in and man hating lesbian
feminism when the audiences of these shows were nearly all
men. It's like going into a Church, Mosque, Synagogue or
Temple and denouncing God and the worshippers for believing
while at the same time trying to get them to worship the devil.

Some people agree with your point of view, obviously, but in the
real world I know nobody who uses the term "woke garbage" to
describe "Doctor Who" or claim the show is produced to "sexually
groom" children. My own children have stopped watching the show
at various times during the past two years, not once have they
said anything about perversions or wokeness being the reason...
they just don't find it entertaining and have better things to
do with their time. The younger generation have shorter
attention spans these days. If a show doesn't grab them, they'll
move on to something else. They wouldn't have the same loyalty
    that us older fans would.

Because from that point on the show started resorting to stupid gimmicks
in order to bring in viewers instead of good writing.

Doctor Whoke has been doing exactly the same thing since the end of
Series 8 with it's disgusting woke gimmicks such as turning the Master
into a woman when it immediately lost half of it's audience then turning
the Doctor into a woman where the audience went down by 3/4, and after
that turning the Doctor into a gay black man written as a woman and who constantly cried, and cried, and cried like a little baby girl and lost
the show 6/7 of its audience.

This included when Doctor Whoke played electric guitar on top of a tank
in the middle ages and the ratings tanked accordingly. It was one stupid gimmick after another.

On top of that people with disabilities and those suffering from mental
illness were displayed as if they were in a circus exhibition by these
fucking woke morons as if they could do everything an able bodied person
could do, which real disabled people can't. These fucking woke retards obviously have never cared for anyone with a disability.

Back in the 50's/60's as 'represented' in the show) weird things were
being done on motorbikes .... like "Evil" Knievel jumping Canyons,
    chains of Cara/Buses, etc.

Why is such a "big" thing made about 'jumps the shark'??

Because many felt that the particular episode marked the beginning of
the decline and end of the show.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_the_shark

And, according to IMDB "Happy Days" had an eleven season run.

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070992/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_1

So something happening in the Fifth Season WASN'T FATAL or any where
    near it!

Yes, they have... including some people in my own family. I
have no problem with anyone doing that. It's not a crime to

People not watching something they don't like is the sensible

Fortunately, Father Time has a cure for this ailment.

It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with getting old.

How many young Doctor Who fans do you know that moan about the
show? A lot of it is the older fans who don't like the modern
direction of the show. So I do think some of it is people
getting old and wanting the show to be like it was when they
    were younger.

AH!! "The Good Old Days!". I wish I could remember THEM!!

YOU Do know, don't you, that, as a parent, you could Tie them down into
a chair so that they COULD/WOULD watch "Doctor Who", don't you??

Lack of Parental Guidance NOTED!! '-P

they just don't find it entertaining and have better things to
do with their time. The younger generation have shorter
attention spans these days. If a show doesn't grab them, they'll
move on to something else. They wouldn't have the same loyalty
    that us older fans would.
