I think this season was a distinct improvement on Gatwa's
first, and am sorry to see him go so we'll never see if this
trend would have continued. A couple of times he did a good
take on the classic Doctor thing of switching from
lighthearted&unimposing to serious&authoritative (Troughton
and Baker were masters of this).

Hmmm... not sure whether I'll go for the steelbook or standard
case. I like shiny nice things for my shelf though so the
steelbook could win!

Yeah, I thought Ncuti Gatwa was getting better, or the scripts
were. It's a shame we only got to see him in two seasons. I
think he could have done so much more.

Regardless of what it was called, it wasn't very good... it
skipped quite a bit and just focused on the usual suspects.
For a "Doctor Who: Unleashed" episode it was the usual light
fluff. There should be a more comprehensive documentary made
to cover those twenty years, with more in-depth behind the
scenes background stuff.

No, wait. Doctor Who ended in 2017 so it was only 12 years in Wales.
After that it moved to Sheffield. So that explains the lack of the special.

The discs are probably UK-region coded, so won't work in standard US or >Australasian Blu-ray / DVD players. But they might also be released in
other regions. The JB Hi-Fi shops, among others, in Australia and New
Zealand still get lots of BBC and other disc releases ... but it may
again depend on what is and isn't in Disney's contract.
