Usually, I just watch Free-to-Air T.V. but I came across an ad for a9aCmAvxskN3qaUHtdJKKJK69ZAJJLz47VfTj-Pterx2YwQ_vg5hoYB4m5mi9gfxHI8V8xNNVERaMOClbuaWIfAaRqgb-gVz5_eeWqlcedqpXZFmgkdtzvHXnFBB2ciTOTCHs8JkG1AryRroeqWmk4Mt_kJi5OQL8ZIjCfTAYlL6PnKZjPoTZcMmHekgCW1UpVsUPiIQ5JdSGrp3GPvBbDYx_X3Q8rfHjOndWUuHTtMGn93iDN33eqpFEOj2fKR_
method to obtain subscription T.V. and Streaming Platforms FOR FREE
"Back from Silicon Valley, this engineer explains us how to access all
the paid channels and platforms for FREE"

So I've just paid out about AU$150 for a gizmo that plugs into a HDMI
socket to access heaps of channels ..... INCLUDING DISNEY+!!
Opps!! Just got a text from my Bank saying they've blocked this payment
and that I should ring them on Monday!!
Stand Bye!!

Nothing new there, there's plenty of ways to access streaming
platforms for free... if that's the way you wanted to go
about it. Good internet is generally required though.
One of the attractions was that you just plugged it into the
T.V.'s HDMI socket and away you go, apparently just pulling
the signal out of the Air.
Yeah, it's called magic.
The rest of us might use the term internet stream though! ;-)

That's very insightful Dave. Well done.
What do you pay for though?
I will let you guess.
My guess would be, nothing!
I was going to answer "Bugger All" but your 'nothing' is probably closer!!
But just in case I guessed wrong, and instead of swervingWaiting. Waiting.
the question, why don't you tell us what you do pay for?
It'll just be between us, so don't be shy...

Phoneline Wall socket then via the Telco lines to my ISP.
In a previous incarnation, I had a Dongle hanging directly out of a USB >socket on the Computer. That Dongle (2.5GB/5GB signal) connected
directly into a Telco System which then carried my signal to my ISP.
So, sort of similar, I was thinking this T.V. Dongle would have been
doing something similiar .... pulling the signal straight out of the Air
and not using my Internet signal.

"swerving the question" so "avoiding the question" by "swerving *around*
the question", maybe.
