    The 13th Doctor returns!

Today saw the release of "Doctor Who: Vampire Weekend" the first
story of the 13th Doctor Adventures range of audios from Big
Finish Productions, starring Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill as
the 13th Doctor and Yaz. I can't upload the whole story here but
here's a link to the trailer...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uev_0GvUus

    [1min 38secs]

VERDICT: "Vampire Weekend" is actually quite good... I only
decided to take a chance on this range as Big Finish are usually
quite good at what they do, so I thought on audio they'd give
the 13th Doctor a decent enough story to launch the series, and
I'm glad I did. "Vampire Weekend" is a good Doctor Who story,
basic enough in fairness, and with a predictable twist, but
quite good fun none the less...

If anyone here is actually interested in Doctor Who stuff,
there's also a behind the scenes interview that Big Finish done
with Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill... and they both seem to be
as mad as a box of frogs!

I think English is the word you are looking for! ;-)

They are both from Yorkshire so they must talk like people from
that part of the UK do... what my buddies from London would call
    "up norf".

IIRC that's a bit further north... although when I lived in
London the Chelsea crew referred to anything north of Watford
as "up norf" so I suppose it's all the one at the end of the
    day... :-)

I found them both funny in that 'interview'... more
appropriately known as the Jodie & Mandip show! The 13th Doctor
audio adventure [Vampire Weekend] is full of humour too, they
clearly have great chemistry together. If only Chris Chibnall
had stuck with the one companion for the 13th Doctor's TV era...

The 13th Doctor looks like the 10th Doctor.
