    head I had a John in there and no George, as I thought George
    was only in the 'Famous Five', but I knew there was no Pip or
    Jane.

    Yes, I knew that .... just trying (and FAILING) to make other
    connections.

    There was a Jane in children's books, those educational ones
    they had in schools with numbers as the books got harder to
    read.

    .... and wasn't that 'George' an early 'transsexual' (Can I use that

    real name 'Georgette' or some such??

    Are you talking "Dick and Jane" books?? No Dick (character name) in
    "Doctor Who" is there?? YET!!
