This stars the Third Doctor, Jon Pertwee. The Doctor and UNIT are called
to a nuclear power plant to investigate strange power failures and
missing personnel. He meets a new threat from under the Earth.

A notable trivia point: This is the only episode which refers to the
Doctor as "Doctor Who" -- a mistake often brought up in trivia
arguments. Another fun point is that the real-life theory of pre-human
Terran civilizations is nicknamed "the Silurian Theory," after the show.

I have written permission from Tubi to stream this.

    At a funeral today :-(

    In the title, yes.

It might also have been confusing for the Target novel readers
of the 1970's, as like some of the earlier TV stories the title
of the novelisation was different to the title of the TV
episode. (The Target novel for this episode was called "Doctor
    Who and the Cave Monsters".)

Whatever you want to call it though this is a strong episode of
"Doctor Who". Some traditionalist fans were not too keen on the
idea of the Doctor being exiled to Earth and Earth bound stories
in general, but this is a quality story in anyone's book. One of
    the best of its time.
