  • Was this where they got a 'Doctor Who' storyline from??

    This afternoon I watched 'Conan the Barbarian' (the 2011 version, not
    the 1982 Arnie version)
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0816462/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_2 and it struck me
    that it could have been a starting point for a 'Doctor Who' episode.

    At the start of the film, the mask-wearing Baddie is wreaking havock all
    across the ancient (Earth) world .... until a group of the 'savages'
    tribes gang together and defeat the Baddie and take his mask and split
    it five ways and each of the tribes takes a piece.

    Then the Baddie gathers a new Army and starts defeating the tribes, one
    at a time, gathering the pieces of the mask together.

    Que Conan!!

    Wasn't there a, sort-of, similar 'Doctor Who' storyline with five (??)
    Good Races defeating the Daleks and cutting the boss Dalek entity up
    into Five (??) pieces and spreading the pieces around on different worlds??

    Or something like that.

    (I, sort of, want to suggest it screened around the time of
    "Ashilda/Me", the Woman who would live forever ..... but don't quote me!)

    Or am I (again) mis-remembering things??
