So did the TARDIS. We saw Romana I exploring it.

Nyssa wasn’t taken from Traken by the Master, but by the

(No, I don’t know how the Watcher could do that. But Nyssa was

Nah, I've seen it. Multiple times, in fact.

One does wonder when she found the time to pack, but the evidence is

Nyssa's outfits weren't from the TARDIS wardrobe. That's my not- >entirely-serious point. She is always dressed in clothing appropriate
for weather and events, and it's always maroon and in the style of her
    home.

Were there any other companions who bothered to pack? It could be

Sarah Jane Smith. Leela. Peri? I think all of her swimming costumes were
    different colours. Hum...

Sarah Jane was from Earth and wore all different outfits, probably from
the TARDIS wardrobe or acquired as needed, not selections from her own >coordinated wardrobe. Leela wore the same outfit all the time, so I'm
not sure why you mention her.

Peri might potentially qualify. I never saw Peri join the Doctor.

    End of Planet of Fire.

Nyssa's the only one I can think of who brought her own stuff.

that it probably wasn't a big deal either way. Nyssa, by contrast, had a

So did the TARDIS. We saw Romana I exploring it.

Leela did use her regular stuff.

Have you seen The Talons of Weng Chiang and The Horror of Fang Rock?

Yes, but wasn't she back in her own minidress after the need for period
    costumes had passed?

I liked Leela a lot as a kid, because she wasn't helpless.

She had different versions of here minidress. One in brown, one in
beige, must have been others... What did she have on in The Image of
    Fendahl?

    The lighter one.

I'm pretty sure they just used the TARDIS wardrobe as needed. We saw
Romana browsing it at one point.
