months later (it would ultimately run in the Tribune's PM edition which I'd imagine went to ex-Times subscribers - when "Bloom County" wound up getting promoted, "Conrad" took its' spot in PM).Today'd FC recycled art (and the caption) from January 3, 1983. What was missing from the Post that day?
Calvin & Hobbes? Oh, wait....
What I do remember (well, not much as I was almost 3) was the Bucs defeating the Bears to sneak into the Super Bowl Tournament where they would be soundly beaten by the big, bad Dallas Cowboys the following week.
Also both Tampa Bay area newspapers (the Tribune and St. Petersburg's Times) added "Bloom County". Opus and co. did debut in the Tampa Times at the beginning of 1981 and didn't immediately move to its' primary sister paper Tribune after it folded 17

There was an announcement for a R-rated movie called Sex Education, but the word "Sex" was blurred. (Three years later, there was a movie called "A Little Sex", but the word "Sex" was deleted.
A little too family-friendly aren't they?

For the second straight day, lazy Jeffy has had to resort to using a twice-recycled FC gag.
BTW to correct Brian from November 21, 2018, it was actually the FC strip from March 21, 1994 that originally was recycled (and Thel's hair was still tweaked).

As for 2018, Thel's caption would be changed to.
"No, I'm not interested in whatever you're selling. But it's nice to hear an adult voice."

Seriously Jeffy. TWO DAYS IN A ROW YOU'RE USING TWICE-RECYCLED MATERIAL?!?!?!? Look, I know you're completely out of new ideas (I have yet to see an original FC strip this year!) but resorting to using gags that have been recycled multiple times is
Again, I'm so glad the Tampa Bay Times demoted lazy Jeffy to their exclusive e-Paper.
And once again for Today's installment of Recycled FC, lazy Jeffy resorts to using a gag that has been twice-recycled.
The first appearance from this gag was on April 13, 1994 with the art and caption the same.
Then the gag was recycled again on April 11, 2018 with Billy's caption changed to...
"I don't like eatin' off trays. There's no place to put your elbows."

We're four months into 2022 and lazy Jeffy hasn't come up with a single new idea yet. Probably because he's out of new ideas but yet he won't stop passing off work as "new" when it clearly isn't. PLEASE GIVE IT UP ALREADY JEFFY!
Well, Lazy Jeffy has done it again!!!!! Once again he has resorted to using a Family Circus gag that has been twice recycled. As for July 28, 1983, the Post (25 cents) told us that the Indianapolis Indians of the American Association would end their affiliation with the Reds at the end of the 1983 season. Speaking of the Expos, they beat the Reds 6-3 at Riverfront Stadium.
Today's Recycled FC originally ran on July 28, 1983. Thel's hair was tweaked. The same gag would be repeated again some 35 years later on September 14, 2018.
,new ideas?!?!?!?!?
It's been awhile since I complained about Lazy Jeffy resorting to recycle FC strips twice but it's happened again.
The first time was from December 10, 1992. Then, the UniHORN strip was recycled again on December 28, 2018.
Seriously Jeffy! Just admit you're out of new ideas. Imagine if it was King Features impacted by multiple strips in reruns instead of Andrews McMeel. Then we'd likely have a whole week of twice recycled FC strips!!!!!had
