I stumbled on this - I enjoyed PJ for years, but I hadn't seen this one.
(For those who don't know, Jess is a highschooler and Jill is her mother. "Rachel" is, presumably, the other mother's daughter.)

SPOILER
To me, it's a bit emotionally confusing. As in, will Jill be grateful that the other mother respected her rule with Jess? Or be mad that the mother didn't insist on a tamer movie instead so that Jess COULD have been invited? Or will Jill think "I've GOT
to find a way to break up Jess' relationship with that family before she blames me for what happened! They're awful!"
(And another question: How many parents of teens these days, percentagewise, DO allow them to watch slasher films at sleepovers?)
So anyway, one can also read it at Comics Kingdom -

- but right now I'm locked out.
Does anyone have access and would you please tell me what the best comments were under that strip?
Thank you.
Btw, I saw it first here - this also features "Baby Blues" and James Thurber's classic book "Many Moons." The blog, per se, is about how parents are torn between encouraging kids to explore mentally and restricting them at the same time.
