    Hello again Readers and typers.

"My lovesick life as a '90s otaku." volume 1 by Nico Nicholson. The
heroine is an Otaku at a new school who does not wish to be known as an
otaku because she was treated badly in middle school as an Otaku. She is
intent on suppressing her otaku side but is constantly falling into
Otaku mode. The Class President is a Yanki i.e. he keeps his hair
slicked down and wears a gakuran uniform. She wears a sailor type
uniform. The CP thinks she is shy and undertakes to welcome her
to the school and carries her home on his bicycle. But he has a
steady GF who is quite jealous. Now this is her view from the
POV of a formerly married and currently employed mother whose
child is an annoyingly privileged . The author despite the last
name is apparently raised in Japan thus we get authentic Japanese
feelings about many things. I found this in the Graphic Novel
section of the San Francisco Public Library main branch from
seeing 3rd volume of this on the New shelf.
so I searched shortly and found volume 1.

    USA 12.99 from Kodansha

All four volumes of this are fine reading.
Buy it if you can find room for the volumes. Not
as wildly shipping as "Fujoshi Rumi" in which the
fujoshi can only thing of desirable young men as
subjects of their yaoi fantasies. a while back,
02/02/2010 09:16 AM. Fujoshi Rumi aka Japanese
title is "Mousou Shojo Otaku Kei". Was projected
tp be 4 volumes in English but he 4th volume
was never published in the USA and I was so
happy to find that it had been put up online.
Anyway if you don't have the money use a good
    search engine like DuckDuckGo.
