Cosplay event held in Shizuoka City where guests enjoyed going as anime, etc. characters. (NHK)
A cosplay event was held on November 19 in Shizuoka City where guests had dressing as, and wearing their hair like, characters from anime, movies. It was prohibited last year and the year before last due to COVID-19.
Cosplayers from various parts of Japan gathered and walked near JR Shimizu Station. Lots of people lined to have their photographs taken 1 at a time with a popular cosplayer from Shizuoka Prefecture.
A female cosplayer from Kanagawa Prefecture said, "This was forbidden due to COVID-19, so I came here to the first 1 held this year. I had a lot of fun, so I am very happy."
