    Ok, here goes:
It is stated among the various discussions on Asmodeans killer that
someone has solved the "riddle" and therefore RJ will not comment
further on the topic. My question is as follows:
Why has the person who's solved it, not come forward with the theory
and cited Jordan, so we can all sleep through the night without
    wondering??

And Jordan says that it is obvious from the moment he is killed. This sentence is the widely subject of the discussion and why?? When Jordan
states this, it says to me; without any deep thought about how and why
it should come to the reader automatically. So you don't have to
argue, that late in book six, Graendal THINKS something about good
    Asmodean is DEAD.

    Page 175 of paperback LoC:

Graendal opines to Sammael that Lew Therin killed Asmodean, Lanfear, and Moghedian.

What makes you sure Asmodean is DEAD? We haven't had any
confirmation, only speculation from The Forsaken and Rand, what if
Asmodean is supposed to help Rand in the Final battle (I think I read
in TPotD something about an old enemy that will fight alongside the
Dragon Reborn in the last battle) Rand hints that Asmodean may still
be out there in PoD. I believe Asmodean is hiding or something.
Jordan confirmed in several interviews that Asmodean was "roadkill"
