Elon Musk on Tuesday reacted to recent remarks from “Star Wars: The Acolyte” creator Leslye Headland about her new Disney+ show, calling them “crazier
than the ‘South Park’ parody.”

Musk took to X and commented on an old clip of the director/showrunner
talking about watching “Frozen” as an adult and was captivated by “the
concept of true love being between two sisters and not a heterosexual relationship. She said it “inspired” her to create a similar story that her parents would have allowed her to watch when she was a younger “queer”
person.

“Reality is actually crazier than the South Park parody!” Musk wrote, referencing a “South Park” episode that torched the President of Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, for recent Disney box office flops, specifically “Star
Wars” movies that have had little to no connection to the original trilogy.

In the episode titled “Joining the Panderverse,” Kennedy is ripped for recycling successful films but replacing the characters with minorities.

The clip shows one part of the episode where a group of Disney executives
tell CEO Bob Iger, “We don’t understand it, sir. We keep making the same
movie over and over and pandering to everyone, but suddenly it’s not
working.”

Iger replied, “Then we’ve got to pander harder!”

“The Acolyte” director recently talked about how her new Sith-focused series isn’t going to be like what fans have seen in shows like “The Mandalorian” or “Andor.”

Headland said her new series looks “at the Jedi as an institution, as a concept, as an entity that has amassed a lot of power. And that’s good, I’m
not saying that’s wrong.”

“But I do think that when Jodie Turner-Smith has that line at the end of the trailer, when she says, ‘It’s not about good or bad, this is about power and who’s allowed to use it,’ really I think that’s the question we’re asking,”
she added. “That’s really the question. It’s not, ‘Is somebody good, is somebody bad?’ There’s an imbalance.”

“Someone might be imbalanced morally, but if there’s a power imbalance, how does that affect the power of Star Wars?” the director continued. “And we’ve never seen the good guys outnumber the bad guys to this extent. I guess
that’s how it’s different.”
