Classic Star Wars Movie Gets Theatrical Rerelease
But You'll Have to Wait
-------------------------------------------------
Lucasfilm has officially announced the Star Wars: A New Hope
theatrical rerelease dates for the special limited screenings
of the epic space opera. The 1977 movie served as the first
installment to George Lucas' long-running sci-fi franchise.
This comes after Disney just recently re-released Revenge of
the Sith in theaters last April for a special week-long
screening.
"The Imperial Forces - under orders from cruel Darth Vader -
hold Princess Leia hostage, in their efforts to quell the
rebellion against the Galactic Empire," reads the movie's
official synopsis. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, captain of
the Millennium Falcon, work together with the companionable
droid duo R2-D2 and C-3PO to rescue the beautiful princess,
help the Rebel Alliance, and restore freedom and justice to
the Galaxy."
When is the Star Wars: A New Hope theatrical rerelease date?

currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 94% on Rotten
Tomatoes, making it the highest-rated installment of the
entire franchise.
Star Wars: A New Hope was written and directed by George Lucas.
The ensemble cast included Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker,
Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia
Organa, Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi, Anthony Daniels
as C3PO, Kenny Baker as R2-D2, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, David
