By 2020, requests from connected actors to delete tweets were routine. One executive would write to another: “More to review from the Biden team.” The reply would come back: “Handled.”

Tucker points out the many of these connected actors were actually gov't officials and some used threats of regulatory reprise to force compliance.
A blatant abuse of power and and whenever a case similar has reached SCOTUS it's been found unconstitutional and an unlawful violation of civil rights.

Anyway, the flood gates have just opened, and the ramifications will be felt for years to come.

Yes, Taibbi has cemented his reputation as forever a laughingstock.

Some were...some weren't. Many were headed to gov't positions
    that they used to "influence".
    That means threaten.

Keep laughing. This treasure trove of malfeasance and free speech suppression will amuse us all for years to come.

Pictures of Hunter were posted without his permission, hence
    'non-consensual.'

The specific requests were from the campaign, so, weren't.

Many were headed to gov't positions that they used to "influence".

How is a threat to ask twitter to enforce its own rules?

Taibbi said the government wasn't involved, so no malfeasance. As for
free speech, twitter has the right to its own rules.

How many other people's non-consensual photos did they request
be taken down or was this just a special courtesy for the President's son?
