I'm not, Its irrelevant to my point about Teamster members not going for Biden, I have been talking about TEAMSTERS.. Wage earners and piece rate earners. I have NEVER been talking
    about owner operators

First of all there is a great divide between trade unionists and progressive unions
representing government worker, teachers, and other professionals, who are mostly leftistsB

And among the trade unionists, Teamsters are way less liberal than the rest. I'll give you this. The Teamsters have expanded beyond truck drivers.
But among the core, wage earning and load rate truck drivers, they are not a very woke progressive bunch of unionists.

Please provide documentation that Teamsters members so voted

"It’s unclear how Teamsters voted in the 2020 election. Pre-election survey data collected by the IBT was never released, but anyone working at UPS, YRC, or other major Teamster employers would tell you that the membership was sharply divided on
whether or not they supported Trump.

    What Did The Teamsters Do?

What we do know is that Teamsters chose three issue priorities on an internal poll sent to all active members: 1) protecting our pensions, 2) enhancing the right of workers to organize, and 3) negotiating trade deals that benefit workers instead of
shipping their jobs away. These are important issues that not only matter to Democrat, Republican, and Independent Teamsters, but to the working class as a whole."

    from
    https://www.teamsterrebel.com/home/election2020

Notice Item 3.. Biden and the Dems fail on this point
Teamster rank and file are let down
thus, the Biden vote from other ubions was not met by the Teamster members.

There is no argument at all about the overall union vote.
We are talking about Teamster members

In some cases that overall union money was well spent in other cases it was misspent

Generally, between 15% t0 37% of union money goes to direct representation (bargaining, organizing, shop steward services, member representation services) , the majority of the money is spent on politics. I just read those stats today in another article
    about right to work issues.

    Clippety-clop, clippety-clop...

    This is not a loan.

From shoring up a union's finances to "Joe's vote buying" is quite the leap. Are you Shmooing on Iron Man's shoe-rockets?

When was the last time you commented on Trump's nonstop grifting? It's been in all the Real News. $50M here, $100M there - the marching morons keep dumping cash on the orange turd-monster. Even if your asinine description of a Congressional allocation
for a huge union crippled by the pandemic were a little bit true, at least there's a quid pro quo: Cash for votes. Trump gives his victims nothing - zero, nada, goose egg. He takes and takes and takes, and never gives anything back.

Trump bought my vote and paid me back with a wall, and a policy remove illegals.

This is not a loan. Covid relief laws will haunt us for all eternity.

    ScottW
Probably wont work Hes not a favorite of truck drivers.
Independent truck drivers most impacted by fuel and other regulatory restrictions
and AB5 in cal. and pushed by Biden are not in Teamsters.

    ScottW
I was talking about Teamsters, not independent owner/operators
Teamster drivers don't pay for the fuel their truck consumes. It doesn't affect their paycheck.

I think the dissatisfaction with Joe is in the independent trucker ranks.

    ScottW
Who is talking about fuel costs.
I'm not, Its irrelevant to my point about Teamster members not going for Biden,
Then you have no point. Teamsters leadership endorsed Biden and the membership
voted accordingly. Independent truckers have been suffering under Biden
but union truckers are not any more than any average working person. They may not be happy about inflation but having their pensions propped up
will go a long way for many approaching retirement.
I don't think woke BS is even on their radar compared to support for their union benefits.

    ScottW
Please provide documentation that Teamsters members so voted
    https://teamster.org/2021/02/teamsters-help-power-biden-harris-ticket-to-victory/

Nobody has an exact vote count but it's very clear Biden did far better than Hillary with the overall union vote.
Employees in energy and coal tended to be more for Trump but most others all swang back toward the dem ticket.
And regardless how the rank and file voted the unions funded the Biden campaign with massive cash donations.

    ScottW
There is no argument at all about the overall union vote.
We are talking about Teamster members
For which there is no explicit data beyond the result of the election.

    ScottW

    a side note.
Most unions select their Intenational President either at convention, by delegates, or by
    an executive board.
However, the teamsters have a direct election by the popular vote of its members.
Two candidates ran, one being the selected replacement for Hoffa Jr. A more traditional liberal
The other, a progressive. The progressive won with about 2/3 majority
But here is the big HOWEVER: Only 11% of the member voted.
To me, this indicates that the members have a huge political apathy towards Democrat politics. They just want to pay their dues, get a good salary and working conditions.
They want the union to simply do its job and represent them.
They don't want to be bothered by union politics, they are not activists, and they are not married to the Democrat party.

If you have unspent bucks in your medical savings

Were you this dense before you fell in love with Trump?

If Sharia law allows for deporting illegals' caravans, I'm all in favor of it. I already know it is not LGTBQ+ friendly, so that's another plus
And transgender morphing of children is also a no-no
    It's looking better each day
I still have a problem with their speech repression, so that's a tie with the Dems.
I do have a problem with genital mutilation, oh, anothetrtie with the Dems.
