• Kissinger still wrong after all these years

From ScottW@21:1/5 to All on Fri Dec 16 19:00:41 2022
"The preferred outcome for some is a Russia rendered impotent by the war. I disagree," Kissinger wrote. "For all its propensity to violence, Russia has made decisive contributions to the global equilibrium and to the balance of power for over half a
millennium. Its historical role should not be degraded."

He was horribly wrong on Vietnam....devastatingly wrong on China....and now appears to be oblivious of the millions upon millions who have suffered and died while he benefitted on his perch above this sick and twisted "world order".

I would not say he was wrong on China, the mistakes (mostly selling out for cheap goods) came later under Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama (exclude Trump) and Biden

If you're talking about the piece in The Spectator, one-time Stereophile contributor Fred Kaplan isn't a fan.

    No
what comes later is shaped by people and events.
Your lapse of logic is like blaming Henry Ford for drunk driver deaths

A "lapse of logic" from scottw? Where on earth did you pull that notion from? That scurrilous, rabid, lie-spewing propagandist does not rely on "logic".
Like any true-red republicon who is addicted to far-right poison, he ALWAYS distorts news reports to fit his twisted, demented views.

You, by contrast, are incapable of understanding anything that's not in your core programming. The crazy idea that scottw is connected to "logic" is
a fundamental error in your source code. Expunge it immediately, or else
you'll stay estranged from reality until you drain your last bottle of schnapps.

Ok. so Henry Ford is to be blamed for drunk driving deaths, at least you
are fairly applying this nonsense across the board.
