Is the third batch the charm for putting 'ol Joe out of his misery?

Or is it the fat wad of Chinese bucks that flowed into U Penn who then drummed up the request to end the FBI unit looking into Chinese spying in our academic institutions?

I'm gonna go with the fat wad of money.

Then again, Garland may be thinking the best way he can cover his own ass in that corruption is to put Joe in the slammer for sloppy handling of classified docs....hmmm, tough call which will take out the 'ol fart.

About 10 replies to everything but this lil elephant in the room.

Pushing hard on this one. Maybe it's so far fetched it's not worth even
looking up, but just to set your mind at ease...

Guilt by association. Any Chinese contribution to the University is
    presumed to benefit Biden.

    Some context:

    https://thediplomat.com/2014/07/chinas-ivy-league-love-affair/

Whether it is the University of California at Berkeley, Yale University,
or Cambridge University in the U.K.: those top schools brim with Chinese prodigies, relatives, princelings, or else engage in China-related
research and cultural diplomacy. This is good for China’s elites, but
there is a dark side too –brain drain.

The latest evidence comes from a $15 million donation to Harvard by a billionaire couple, Pan Shiyi and Zhang Xin, in order to establish a
“SOHO China Scholarship.” This wasn’t entirely newsworthy because
Chinese donations like this to Harvard are somewhat common. However this particular story sparked outrage (or perhaps a well-orchestrated
publicity campaign) on Chinese social media.

As business people, Mr. Pan and Ms. Zhang probably expect some form of
return on their “investment,” apart from the SOHO namesake and
patronage; that could include getting one of their own into Harvard -a
family member, a relative, a friend or even many friends. Most Chinese commentators would have little problem with that, as caring for one’s
family and friends is an inherent component of the Chinese/Confucian
tradition (even Xi Jinping, the country’s president, sent his daughter
to Harvard). In fact, most critics would do the same if only they had
the financial means. However, their main concern is this: Why are they
    not investing in China’s education?

    End quote.

    https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/us-says-ivy-league-may-have-failed-report-millions-dollars-gulf-china

"The US Department of Education has opened an investigation into two Ivy
League schools after it uncovered as much as $6bn in unreported foreign
gifts to American universities from countries including Saudi Arabia,
the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and China.

The Department of Education said on Wednesday that Harvard and Yale "potentially failed to report hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign
    gifts and contracts".

The department said that Yale may have failed to report at least $375m
in foreign funding. Yale filed no reports on foreign gifts or contracts
    between 2014 and 2017.

In total, the department said it believes colleges and universities may
have underreported as much as $6bn worth of foreign funding."

    End quote.

    And it's old news:

    https://www.thedp.com/article/2021/01/penn-biden-center-republican-inquiry

“The Penn Biden Center has never solicited or received any gifts from
any Chinese or other foreign entity. In fact, the University has never solicited any gifts for the Center," MacCarthy wrote in a Jan. 27
statement to The Daily Pennsylvanian. "Since its inception in 2017,
there have been three unsolicited gifts, from two donors, which combined
[to a total of] $1,100. Both donors are Americans."

He was getting a fat paycheck from UPenn...and then the Biden admin did dump the
Chinese spy unit when asked....by UPenn.

I know that two dots connected confuse and now we're up to to at least 4.
