    he/she/it says

The rise of and normalisation of the far-right has always meant the increase in political attacks on those already oppressed in our societies; attacks against people of colour, attacks against migrants and foreigners, attacks against women’s rights and
attacks against LGBTQ+ are part and parcel of the propaganda of the far-right and fascists. For obvious examples, take a look at Poland and Hungary, take a look at some US states where the far-right is in control, like Texas,

Now I'm going to venture a guess that this idiot has never been to or lived in Texas. But I have family living in Texas and without going into a lot of detail, they are people of color who fled Ca. for Texas. They love it.
They are living the American dream in Texas.

"Gov. Greg Abbott said this week that he would sign a proposed bill
banning citizens and foreign entities from four countries, including
    China, from buying Texas land."

    It's NOT racism.

Kinda is, unless there's a sort of racism that doesn't include banning
    Chinese people from buying property.

    It's called National Security.

The nation of Texas? Enforced by Zillow? Those things are reserved for
the federal government. Call for sanctions if you want, but it's not a
proper topic for a state law.

now that you've brought it up.... Ever tried their free flat repair?
Every excuse I ever heard why a tire can't be repaired and must be
replaced. Even once told me they already took the tire off the wheel
and can't put it back on due to "uneven tread wear". I had to
    replace it.

Yes, I've had at least two tires replaced for free with the paid warranty.

NTB, OTOH, always broke stuff and charged for stuff they didn't do.
    Maybe they're better now.

Since the Lege is in session, we find a bill proposed to
prevent Chinese real estate purchases in Texas ticks three of
    your boxes.

I suspect they mean Chinese gov't.
    They don't, not exclusively.
But if you think selling property to every interest in the world
is going to help our own poor and impoverished, I think you're
stupid and a danger to the first time home buyer.
You typically jump to conclusions. How you get from "legislator
proposes racist bill" to "selling property will help our poor" is
    a marvel.

    That's "won't help".

By inversion, if you say I'm wrong that "selling property... is going to
help our own poor and impoverished," then you're saying I think "selling property *will* help."

Demand drive prices. Kind of basic. Letting rich foreigners hold
their wealth in US property is not good for anyone but current
property owners. The rich getting richer while new generations are
locked out. And it is often of grossly disproportionate impact.
Which makes your advocacy of Chinese investment....racist.

Haha! You prefer that Canadian/British/whatever venture capitalists run
up the housing prices? And you plucked "advocacy" out of thin air.

    It is NOT racism.

People of Chinese ethnicity who are not citizens of those four nations can buy
    land in the US.

Gotta admit a measure against Chinese citizens will have a
    disproportionate impact on ethnic Chinese.

And foreign nationals who are Filipinos, Japanese, Burmese, Vietnamese, etc. can buy land here.

That makes it even worse for the Chinese.

It is very common that countries ban or restrict foreign nationals from owning real estate.
As an example, the Philippines does it. They are not racist against white people.

They don't have a Fair Housing Act guaranteeing equal access to housing.
Nor do we have a law banning all foreign nationals from buying real estate.

Nonetheless, it ticks the racist box due to disproportionate impact.
There would be local impact in Austin as Chinese tech workers would be
    unable to buy homes.

If Chinese real estate purchases are doing real harm, call for federal sanctions, not un-Constitutional state laws by political extremists.
