    batting .960 24/25 is damn fine
    I'm not in on limiting Federal agency jobs to 8 years.
    I understand the underlying problem of the status quo, but
    the proposal might have negative unintended consequences.
    Maybe career employees can get stale and lazy, but they like
    the stability and benefits. Take that away and you'll get a new breed.
    More aggressive, but also more greedy. Knowing they will be turned out, they will be looking to feather their future nests by transitioning to private opportunities.
    Much like many of our corrupt politicians using a revolving door
    between elective office and government contractors.
    I wouldn't want that to happen to staff people also, by removing
    a 25 year career option that most currently elect to pursue/

    I agree, what is needed is to make firing the lazy shits easier.
    I'd also spread the offices around the country so we don't have this
    massive concentration of federal employees being a political
    constituency.
