    https://journals.lww.com/health-physics/Citation/2022/06000/Comment_on__World_Atmospheric_CO2,_Its_14C.13.aspx

    "(2022) published a study based on analysis of CO, (radiocarbon) in the atmosphere that concludes that CO; emitted from fossil-fuel
    combustion, which contains no "*CO, contributes only 36% to the observed increase in atmospheric COs over the industrial era, with the balance
    due to non-fossil-fuel sources. In this Comment we demonstrate that the
    paper by Skrable et al. is fundamentally flawed in at least four
    respects:

    (1) erroneous history of "CO, in air that is at odds with
    direct observations;

    (2) neglect of the consequences of the large input
    of "CO, into the atmosphere from nuclear weapons tests in the 1950s and
    1960s;

    (3) failure to account for isotope exchanges between the atmosphere,
    ocean, and land biosphere that occur independent of net change in amount
    of atmospheric CO2;

    and (4) neglect of multiple independent lines of evidence that CO2
    emitted from fossil-fuel combustion is the principal contributor to the increase of atmospheric CO2 over the industrial era.

    We... conclude that the paper of Skrable et al. should be retracted in
    its entirety."

    Meanwhile the pause lingers on...

    The 'pause' remains a artifact of cherry-picking a plateau from a
    context of rising overall temperatures.

    Humans have dumped more CO2 into the atmosphere than natural processes

    **The Sun is the major driver of climate on this planet. CO2 levels are
    a secondary, but a no less important, one. At present, Solar activity is
    at an historical low level, thus the warming trend, as noted over the
    past 150+ years, appears to be slowing.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_cycle#/media/File:Solar_Cycle_Prediction.gif

    Here's the big worry:

    WHEN (not if) Solar activity returns to it's normal level, we can expect
    the observed warming trend to accelerate.

    When/if you want to learn the facts, as opposed to you politically
    skewed bullshit, right wing claptrap, then I suggest you read this:

    The listed Russian efforts were in regard to several other candidates who are NOT named Trump
    All but one of the allegations regarded other candidates.

    Here we have Trevor giving out A's for effort.

    Meanwhile in the real world, the Chinese show the Biden admin total disdain.

    "U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin expressed his disappointment over China’s refusal to meet with him during his visit to the region, calling it “unfortunate.”
    And as we take a look at some of the things that China is doing in the international airspace in the region and international waterways, you know, the provocative intercepts of our aircraft and also our allies’ aircraft, that’s very concerning, and
    we would hope that they would alter their actions. But since they haven’t yet, I’m concerned about, at some point, having an incident that could very, very quickly spiral out of control."
