Our deeply devout Shmoos seem to believe that CNN is Evil Incarnate,
at least as far as the news media go. Their panicky palpitations of
paranoia are a curiosity to us dwellers of Reality. What CNN lacks,
as well as the rest of the mainstream media, is a willingness to indulge
the loony obsessions of the RWNJ congregation. The Shmoos
cannot abide simply hearing actual news without the saccharine
adulteration of conspiracies, tales of the "deep state", perpetual
whining about the White Penalty (purely imaginary, of course), and
the overarching conviction that any action that does not reinforce
their paranoia is an attack on their "opinions".

It's sooooo sick. When will the fever break, as the saying goes?
