    Non-binary or genderqueer genders

    ABSTRACT

Some people have a gender which is neither male nor female and may
identify as both male and female at one time, as different genders at
different times, as no gender at all, or dispute the very idea of only
two genders. The umbrella terms for such genders are ‘genderqueer’ or ‘non-binary’genders. Such gender identities outside of the binary of
female and male are increasingly being recognized in legal, medical and psychological systems and diagnostic classifications in line with the
emerging presence and advocacy of these groups of people.
Population-based studies show as mall percentage – but a sizable
proportion in terms of raw numbers – of people who identify as
non-binary. While such genders have been extant historically and
globally, they remain marginalized, and as such – while not being
disorders or pathological in themselves – people with such genders
remain at risk of victimization and of minority or marginalization
stress as a result of discrimination. This paper therefore reviews the
limited literature on this field and considers ways in which (mental)
health professionals may assist the people with genderqueer and
non-binary gender identities and/or expressions they may see in their
practice. Treatment options and associated risks are discussed.

I don't see how refusing to acknowledge exceptions to your terms helps
    your argument:

    https://medicine.yale.edu/news-article/what-do-we-mean-by-sex-and-gender/

These working definitions were a good start in recognizing the value of studying sex and gender and their interactions, yet they were always
meant to evolve. Now, we are learning more about ourselves and so must
adapt our terminology to be inclusive, respectful, and more accurate.
For example, while most people are born biologically female or male,
rare biological syndromes can result in genital ambiguity. Or a
resistance to a sex hormone can result in traits typical of the opposite biological sex.
Moreover, while an individual’s internal sense of gender can be female
or male, some people identify as nonbinary — neither female nor male.
Other individuals can identify as a gender that is the same as
(cisgender) or different from (transgender) the one assigned at birth.
These terms are separate from an individual’s sexual orientation, which describes a person’s emotional, romantic and/or physical attachments
(such as straight, lesbian, gay, asexual, bisexual, and more).
In science, as our understanding grows, so must the precision of our
language in communicating what we know.

"the result of a genotypic male (with XY chromosomes) born with a deficiency in the enzyme 5α-reductase. 5α-Reductase is responsible for the reduction of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the hormone responsible for the
majority of embryonic development of primary male sexual characteristics such as genital size. However, the oxidized form of the hormone, testosterone, promotes secondary sex characteristics. Thus, an XY child without functioning 5α-reductase cannot
convert testosterone into the form that develops primary sex characteristics and will have the appearance of female genitalia. At puberty, when large amounts of testosterone are produced, secondary sex characteristics (e.g., deepening voice, hair pattern
changes, muscle anabolism, etc.) develop, thus producing a phenotypic male.[citation needed]"

So, one such person is a BIOLOGICAL MALE suffering a disorder.

"Complete androgen insensitivity syndrome occurs when the body cannot

They make a good case. If RFKjr can't accept science, he'll believe
    anything.

Science says humans have two sexes, male and female.
    Follow the science.
designations of sex of newborn babies are based upon their biological apparatus.

**Really? A mate's child was born with a vagina and a penis. Which sex
    was it?

That is a genetic mutation. It might be Klinefelter syndrome. But to answer your question, check the genes.
If its is XXY, it likely would be Klinefelter. In general, that description of duality would be considered intersex.
That is NOT a third human sex. Ther are two sexes, male and female

we safely say Humans are of two sexes, have two arms and hands, two legs and feet, five fingers on each
hand and five toes on each foot, and humans are individualistically whole, and are not attached to each
other, though rare mutations do occur.
But the ACCURATE description of human beings are of two sexes,
two arms and hands, two legs and feet, five fingers on each
hand and five toes on each foot, and not attached to each other.

More man and woman than you'll ever be. That poor child's abnormality has a cause.

Being the child of one of Trevor's mates is what caused this?
