    A gentler version (not complete):

Assault would be more like this:

Satie Vexations (to be played 840 times)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqmQ_HJfOQs

"In order to listen to the piece 840 times, listen to this 48 times."

Wait til you hear about Lamonte Young. If you have any Velvet
Underground, Neu! or "Metal Machine Music," be sure not to listen to them.

No that Satie is a lot gentler. A lot less assaultive
And more harmonic. Somewhat similar to Eno's ambient music.

I that the Riley and the Young should be played together, simultaneously.

I am listening to the Satie as I write post to RAO and play my computer baseball game.
It is not at all assaultive, I find it soothing, like Gymnopedeis.

Sure, the first dozen times thru. Get back to me after the fiftieth
    repeat or so.

That you know of! Turns out most any Who fan has echos of Terry Riley in
    their collection.

The La Monte Young is in C-flat, IIRC, but, sure!

Yes, Satie is generally soothing, what with the modalities and slow pace.

That piece is also a dance favorite.
