Anyone watching/streaming/DLing "Vortex"? Elle est francaise.
Anyone watching/streaming/DLing "Vortex"? Elle est francaise.Maybe I'll check it out. I'm batting .500 on French time travel series. Couldn't finish the one with the magic cardboard box, but kind of liked
the one with the teen who jumped back into the various participants in
her formative event in the 90s.
Got it: Twice Upon a Time; and, The Seven Lives of Lea.
Haven't watched: lady lawyer goes back to historical times to learn
about women's rights (Flashback).
Wait! Got it wrong: Vortex is the crime-fighting holodeck? But sort of a
time machine? Seems like a pandemic-safe way to do detective work. I
remember there was some psychology in the plot and as I often do, I
liked the cast. Lost track after a couple of episodes. Will return.

Both of those sound like huge snoozes, but thanks anyway.

I think you may have dozed off during your toe-test. Holodeck-type scifi, yes, but not time travel. More like ghost stories.

time element even if the detective doesn't actually travel in time to communicate with people in the past.
I'll stick to it to see if the detective story is entertaining. So far I
like the detective and the severe lab admin/tech but not the dead wife
as actors.

Is it a requirement that you have to like every actor in a show? I'm thinking of that SYFY show with the strife between Earthers and Belters. The entire cast was like the walking dead.
