Fifty-three percent of Americans believe the Republican Party will do a better job of keeping the country prosperous over the next few years, whereas 39% choose the Democratic Party.
A slightly larger majority, 57%, have greater faith in the Republican Party to protect the country from international terrorism and military threats, while 35% favor the Democrats.

No wonder dems are freaking out.

Yes, it's perplexing that the public doesn't realize Democratic
administrations are better for economic growth.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._economic_performance_under_Democratic_and_Republican_presidents

"Since World War II, the United States economy has performed worse on
average under the administration of Republican presidents than Democrat presidents... The unemployment rate has fallen on average under
democratic presidents, while it has risen on average under republican presidents. Budget deficits relative to the size of the economy were
lower on average for democratic presidents. Ten of the eleven U.S.
recessions between 1953 and 2020 began under Republican presidents."

Curiously, Sackdork loves wiki, but Witlessmoron yaps that it's a commie pinko anti-Dumpster propaganda site.

Except that all too important real income.

Here's a drawing of Witlessmongrel's profound knowledge of economics:

Dems or GOP better for the economy (2020)?

"OK, uh, let’s see… median household income, maybe? Well, maybe not:

    [graph]

As you can see, up impressively under Obama and (especially) Clinton, up somewhat under Trump, and actually down under both Bushes (these are inflation-adjusted amounts, by the way)."

And down under Joe. So it's Joe vs Trump....
    Down vs up.

But both will build a wall.

And down under Joe. So it's Joe vs Trump....
    Down vs up.

Well there was a pandemic and high interest rates necessary to
    successfully combat inflation.

Trump was up about $6k, continuing the Obama rise, and Biden is down
$2k, which isn't so bad considering the recent challenges and the
context of low unemployment and continued GDP growth.

But generally, Democrats are better for the economy.

But both will build a wall.

Biden decided it was better to use leftover Trump funds rather than lose
them as the money can't be used for anything else.

Dunno if 20 miles of wall will make a difference.
