The NYT issued an apology for their malfeasance accepting Hamas version of events and inflaming tensions across the mideast as a result.

The key line..NYT "relied too heavily on claims by Hamas, and did not make clear that those claims could not immediately be verified. The report left readers with an incorrect impression about what was known and how credible the account was. "

How could the NYT with any rational justification give Hamas credibility to be worthy of reporting at all?

It's a BLOG, Witless. It's not facts, or news, or any sort of reportage.
But you keep dragging in their hairball upchucks as if they are researched, fact-checked, or vetted in any way at all.

WTF is wrong with you? Why do you insist on showing us how brain-dead you are?

You have a consistent pattern of an insectoid attention span. If you try consciously to remediate that failing, there's a slight chance you might learn something.

Meanwhile, here's a realistic (if not objective) take on the lunacy of MAGA-stan.

    []
Serious governance is already gone in the lower chamber
of Congress. The House has devolved into MAGA Junior High
with juvenile antics and intra-party food fights as wars rage and
the federal government heads for a shutdown. For nearly a
month House Republicans fought with each other like kids instead
    of representing constituents like adults.

But the MAGA party that pledges allegiance to a four-time criminally
indicted ex-president — who still lies about an election he lost and
schemed to overturn — is strictly performative. The chaos
caucus loosely running the House is consumed with political
grandstanding, not policy making. Click bait, not compromise or consensus.

MAGA Republicans didn’t come to Washington to work; they came to
create a scene. They provoke to seize attention, to raise big money, to
get booked on right wing media. That’s it. The GOP majority in the
House has done nothing to address inflation, affordable health care,
drug addiction, gun violence or any major national problem desperate
    for resolution through partisan cooperation.
    []

Aren't you glad you voted for the shitstain party?

Which chamber is actually passing appropriations bills necessary for a federal budget?

I allow this snippage because you're so pathetic.

The answer, which even you should know, is neither. The House is required
to do that by the Constitution, but as the writer of the critique that scared you
(ahem) witless said, they've chosen to re-enact junior high school instead
    of doing their jobs.

Do you mean the one whose leader took the weekend off to go to Paris?

"Johnson announced his pitch to avoid a shutdown. It’s already hitting a wall.

It already seems unlikely the spending plan could pass the House, with
the new speaker saying they would need Democrats to support it."
