    You are an inspiration. If I was running for mayor in a crime infested city I'd propose a program
    where every citizen who passed a firearms training class and a background check was given an unpaid position in law enforcement giving them these "rights" denied you and I.

    Private citizens wouldn't be entitled to qualified immunity. Also,
    paying to become a sheriff's deputy to make gun ownership easier has a
    long history although recent SCOTUS rulings made that moot.
