Unattributed quote from the NY Post. You did well to omit the
throat-clearing anti-immigration dig at the Democrats. Also three days
old. I guess you've been busy looking thru all that Jan 6 video.

Did you see your beloved murderous hero...Lt. Byrd's radio message
one minute after he gunned down Ashli?

No link from Witlessturd. Par for the course.

Funny how of all the police shootings that have happened in this country since Jan 6, the only one Witlessmoron deplores is the shooting of a MAGA rioter. Not only was that shooting justified, in that a murderous mob was intent on sacking the officer's place of work, but - surprise! - the attacker was White. That fact, in the eyes of MAGA-dweebs, outweighs every criminal act she had committed.

Go ahead and try to explain that one.

Was that the message where the officer said he was afraid for his safety?
Or the one where he described the bloodthirsty rampagers who were intent
    on destroying the Capitol?

He makes it easy on himself by omitting what he's actually talking
about. Not he ever admits when some outrage-bait he's fallen for turns
out to be incorrect, out-of-context or otherwise invalid.

His source is a Babbitt wrongful death suit or rather the frothing it
inspired in the right wing echo chamber. If he's interested in explanations:

    https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/department-justice-closes-investigation-death-ashli-babbitt

"The investigation revealed no evidence to establish beyond a reasonable
doubt that the officer willfully committed a violation of 18 U.S.C. §
    242. Specifically, the investigation revealed no evidence to establish
that, at the time the officer fired a single shot at Ms. Babbitt, the
officer did not reasonably believe that it was necessary to do so in self-defense or in defense of the Members of Congress and others
evacuating the House Chamber. Acknowledging the tragic loss of life and offering condolences to Ms. Babbitt’s family, the U.S. Attorney’s Office and U.S. Department of Justice have therefore closed the investigation
    into this matter."

I hope the double negative isn't too much for his reading comprehension.

Go ahead and try to explain that one.

Maybe after you explain what it has to do with the California health
care system. Never mind the "beloved... hero" you pulled from thin air.

But since you've brought up the insurrection, Dan Froomkin:

    https://presswatchers.org/2024/01/a-jan-6-conspiracy-theory-that-hasnt-been-disproven/

I have a Jan. 6 conspiracy theory that — unlike the other one — has
    never been disproven.

My theory is not that the government secretly instigated the
insurrection, but rather that certain officials effectively allowed it
to happen by insufficiently securing the Capitol.

Why they failed to appropriately prepare or respond remains a mystery.
News coverage of this angle has been almost nonexistent, despite my
    entreaties over the years...

The foremost point of failure was the Capitol Police, whose leadership — particularly its then-chief Steve Sund — ignored a Jan. 3 memo from
    their own intelligence team...

Chief Sund ordered the perimeter defined with bike racks, which are only effective for protests where most people are law-abiding. They do
nothing to stop a horde. In fact, they can get turned into weapons to
use against the police, as they were.

Incredibly, Sund actually ordered the removal of some bike racks late on
Jan. 5, for reasons that some of his colleagues considered suspect.

If he had put up a fence instead, the Capitol would never have been sacked.

    End quote.
