**And that is what is wrong with the Republicans. They prefer to trade
the lives of Ukrainians and cave into the demands of Trump's good buddy,
Putin, just for the sake of power. The Republicans are disgusting.

Ukraine MUST be helped. No excuses. Domestic issues are just that:
Domestic issues. Putin is an existential threat to the stability of all Democratic nations. Mostly those in Europe. However, this does not tell
the whole story. Should Putin succeed in his illegal invasion of
Ukraine, then it is likely Xi will regard this as an opportunity to
invade Taiwan. The result will be very bad for the US and the rest of
the planet, should this be allowed to occur.

Fundamentally, all Democratic nations (including the US) should be
supporting Ukraine in order to defeat Putin. We already know what
happens when dictators are allowed to take what they want. Hitler proved
    that.

Trump must never be allowed to ascend to POTUS again. Should he do so,
then he will allow Putin to take what he wants in Ukraine.

And that is for one simple reason. Dems weren't assuring border security....they were codifying a plan to allow massive unmitigated migration.

I disagree. Republicans linked border policy to Ukraine aid, then
wouldn't negotiate on the border, sinking Ukraine aid.

And, no, the bill doesn't do as you say.

Close to two million people/year were going to illegally cross the
    border, and be released.

And who's going to really bitch if 5,000/day is really 10,000? or
    15,000? or even more?

There is no senate bill that will enhance border security. There is
no senate bill to fix a broken migration system. There's only a
senate bill to put into law Biden's open border policy. Now the
    house bill...HR2 is different story.

That's because Republicans don't want a functioning migration system.
The bill would increase border security spending, thus enhancing border security.
