How to Start and Stop Your Tractor
Before starting your tractor, make sure that you have read and understood the safety precautions and warnings in this guide. Also, make sure that you have performed the pre-operation checks, such as checking the oil level, fuel level, tire pressure, and
brakes. To start your tractor, follow these steps:
Sit on the seat and adjust it to a comfortable position.
Make sure that the parking brake is engaged and the gear shift lever is in neutral.
Turn the key switch to the ON position and wait for the glow plug indicator to go off.
Turn the key switch to the START position and release it as soon as the engine starts.
Let the engine idle for a few minutes to warm up.
To stop your tractor, follow these steps:
Reduce the engine speed and move the gear shift lever to neutral.
Turn off any implements or accessories that are attached to your tractor. Engage the parking brake and turn off the PTO switch if equipped.
Turn the key switch to the OFF position and remove the key.
Perform the post-operation checks, such as cleaning and inspecting your tractor.
How to Operate the Clutch, Brake, Throttle, Steering, and Transmission
Your tractor has a single-plate dry clutch that is operated by a foot pedal on the left side of the floor. The clutch pedal is used to disengage or engage the engine power to the transmission. To disengage the clutch, press down on the pedal. To engage
the clutch, release the pedal gradually.
Your tractor has two brake pedals on the right side of the floor. The left brake pedal controls the left rear wheel, and the right brake pedal controls the right rear wheel. You can use either pedal to stop or slow down your tractor. You can also use
both pedals together to apply equal braking force to both rear wheels. To lock both brake pedals together, push down on both pedals and slide the lock lever to the right. To unlock them, slide the lock lever to the left.
Your tractor has a hand throttle lever on the right side of the steering column. The throttle lever controls the engine speed and power output. To increase the engine speed, move the lever forward. To decrease the engine speed, move the lever backward.
You can also use a foot throttle pedal on the right side of the floor to control the engine speed temporarily. To use the foot throttle pedal, press down on it with your foot. To return to the hand throttle setting, release your foot from the pedal.
Your tractor has a hydrostatic power steering system that makes steering easier and smoother. The steering wheel is located on top of the steering column in front of you. To steer your tractor, turn the steering wheel in the direction you want to go. Do
not turn the steering wheel too sharply or too quickly, as this may cause your tractor to tip over or skid.
Your tractor has a manual transmission that has eight forward speeds and two reverse speeds. The gear shift lever is located on your right side next to your seat. To change gears, follow these steps:
Disengage the clutch by pressing down on the clutch pedal.
Move the gear shift lever to the desired gear position according to
the gear shift pattern on top of
the lever.
Engage
the clutch by releasing
the clutch pedal gradually.
