• The 2027 Chrysler Cordoba - one word WOW

Chrysler, please for God’s sake do something interesting again. Please
make this car - we all want fine Corinthian leather.

Since everything coming up from Stellantis is based on the STLA
platform, this one would be too. It could actually be a Chrysler
version of the new Dodge Charger, with very similar specs. Back in the
1970’s the Cordoba was actually almost a twin to the 1978 Dodge
Magnum. (Although the Chrysler version came first in 1975).

That first generation Cordoba was very popular and many claim it
    actually saved the Chrysler brand.

A second generation came out in 1980 and was far less popular. By
then, the market for a big 2 door car had already shrunk. Even though
Chrysler had first marketed the Cordoba as a “Small car”.

Of course, there is no way a large-door coupe could save Chrysler
today. What Chrysler needs is a couple of SUVs and maybe a new sedan.
And of course, a new Minivan.

Still, the platform is already here, under the 2025 Charger. A new
STLA larger-based coupe could be quieter than ever. And just like the
old Cordoba was successful by giving you the look and feel of a more
expensive car, a smooth-riding STLA base coupe could also be quite
    luxurious.

The old Cordoba was not only described as “small”, but also “Luxurious
yet surprisingly affordable”. Or ” the picture of style and taste”.

These days, the famous (New Jersey) Corinthian Leather could finally
be standard. However, Ricardo won’t be back. Unless his family makes a lucrative “A.I. deal” with Stellantis…
