ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A shooting on I-70 near the Missouri River
early Friday morning sent three men traveling in three separate
vehicles to the hospital, police said. I-70 remained open to traffic as
of 5:30 a.m.
The victims, who knew each other, were all sent to a hospital with non- life-threatening injuries, a spokesperson with the St. Louis County
Police Department said.
The shooting happened in the westbound lanes of I-70 just east of the
Missouri River.
St. Louis County police officers were sent to the scene on the
Blanchette Bridge minutes after midnight.
First responders found the victims. They were in their twenties, police
said.
"No suspects are currently in custody," the spokesperson said.
More information may be forthcoming further into the investigation.
