• Vent temperature when heater is on

From AK@21:1/5 to All on Sat Apr 15 11:06:33 2023
When I run the heater in my 2009 Mazda CX-7, the temp of the air coming out of the vents is around 120 degree F.

I use the knob that mixes in fresh air to bring that temp down a notch.

I am interested to know if others are seeing that kind of heater temps.

    Thanks,
    Andy

You got me curious about heater vent temps so I stuck a very accurate
pipeline probe type thermo in the air vent, turned on the heater, a/c
comp off, and went to Walmart. Heater vent air temp was a constant 140F
after the engine warmed up. Outside air temp was 75F.

    Thanks for the scientific research.
