You are posting in an old usenet newsgroup titled "alt.astronomy".

Perhaps we should consider what "astronomy" is?

What is Astronomy? Astronomy is the study of everything in the
universe beyond Earth's atmosphere. That includes objects we can
see with our naked eyes, like the Sun , the Moon , the planets,
    and the stars .
    What is Astronomy? | AMNH

Astronomy is a natural science that studies celestial objects and
phenomena in the universe. It uses mathematics, physics, and chemistry
to understand their origin, evolution, and behavior. Astronomy
encompasses the study of a wide range of objects, including planets,
    stars, galaxies, nebulae, and more.

Here's a more detailed look at what astronomy involves:
    Key Areas of Study:
    Celestial Objects:
    .
Astronomy investigates a vast array of objects, including planets,
moons, stars, galaxies, nebulae, and exoplanets.
    Universe and its Structure:
    .
It explores the structure and evolution of the universe, including the formation and development of stars, galaxies, and the distribution of
    matter in space.
    Phenomena in Space:
    .
Astronomy examines various phenomena that occur in space, such as cosmic background radiation, black holes, and supernovae.
    Observational Science:
    .
Astronomy primarily uses observation, particularly with telescopes, to
gather data and study the electromagnetic radiation emitted by celestial objects.
    Theoretical Models:
    .
It develops and tests theoretical models to explain the observed
phenomena and the behavior of celestial objects.
    Branches of Astronomy:

    Cosmology:
    .
Studies the origin, evolution, and fate of the universe as a whole.

    Planetary Science:
    .
Focuses on the formation, composition, and evolution of planets and
    other bodies within solar systems.

    Astrophysics:
    .
Applies physics to study the physical processes within celestial
objects, such as stars and galaxies.
    Stellar Astronomy:
    .
Studies the formation, evolution, and properties of stars.

    Galactic Astronomy:
    .
Studies the structure, evolution, and dynamics of galaxies.
    Extragalactic Astronomy:
    .
Studies galaxies beyond our own, Milky Way

    So, Dear "casagiannoni@optonline.net" would you
please tell us what scientist has written about
his ideas that match with your view?
Or, are you the only one who thinks like you do?

Give it up. You are posting facts.

The OP belongs to the "I don't understand it, therefore it can't be true"
    group of people.

And it makes no difference anyway. Our current understanding is merely based on the latest observations and technology. 500 years ago, the current understanding was that Earth was the center of the universe. Also based on the latest observations and technology.

500 years from now, who knows what the latest observations and technology will tell us?
