Has anyone installed this device or has some background on it?

It receives both 1090 and 978 MHZ signals, and transmits on 978 MHZ at about 10% of the output power of a standard ADSB system. This would be fine for me---I'm never going into or near controlled airspace but I sure would like to alert local traffic
within 5-10 miles, and see them too.
It costs about $2000 and it is "permanently mounted". It seems to be aimed at drones, but I don't see why it wouldn't be good for an experimental glider and give a significant boost in safety over eyeballs alone.
It's not clear how to utilize its ADSB-IN signal. It seems to be aimed at an autopilot system for drones, but drone operators need to see and avoid too. The spec sheet mentions GDL90 which is the standard language for traffic monitoring devices like
Foreflight, Sky Demon, etc., so maybe it could interfaces with them?
It would be nice to talk to someone who has actually worked with it.
