• Wear Limits on Schweizer and Tost Tow Rings

From mark grubb@21:1/5 to All on Wed Feb 8 23:49:45 2023
Does anyone have definitive documentation for the minimum steel diameter (thickness) for these rings? The Tost website says to contact them for the information. I did this and have not received a reply.

    Thanks, Mark

I have the 2005 edition for the TOST ring pair LN 65091. I can't see your e-mail address to send it.

After morning tea, realized I could put it on dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3evzevmuazp1qbx/Tost%20Rings%20specifications.pdf?dl=0 All hail tea! Let me know if you could get it.

The drawing in the Standard LN 65091 calls out a manufacturing tolerance of +0, -0.3mm for the wire diameter of both rings. It does not call out a wear limit, so I would interested in what Tost has to say about that.

I was able to retrieve it with no issues. Thanks!
