For all you fan-boyz so eager to fly electric, here's your chance.
Three battery related fires in a week and a half, in one fire district.

Not too long ago in nearby Longmont, a Tesla caught fire, burned up the
rest of the (ice) cars in the carport, and then burned out an eight-unit apartment building. No doubt logged as one BEV and seven ICE fires in
    the statistics.

Correction, it wasn't three fires in a week and a half, it was three *additional* fires.

So were these lead-acid batteries? Nope. Zinc-carbon? Nope. Alkaline?
    Nope.

But you've got to hand it to these lithium things, they can make a
garage door fly! Without even a thermal.

We are bound to see move BEV fires as these things age and dendrite growth takes place.

Also, how are people supposed to recharge these things in cold climates? I suppose some have battery heaters, but they won't do the job in very cold weather.
